A simple conversation between the Lawman Raylan Givens and Scott Summers goes awry when a criminal organization with deep Anti Mutant roots attacks the restaurant, wanting Cyclops to turn around and head back home. Raylan understands where Scott's coming from, and is more inclined to trust him after they team up to stop a lynch mob and save a new mutant, the sister of the one who was killed in the last vicious attack, but Raylan has more pressing matters at hand - Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, is keeping the majority of the Lawmen busy and leaving The Brotherhood of Mutants to fend for themselves. As Boyd Crowder steps up hostilites, however, a new drug kingpin arrives in Harlan City. Breaking Bad's Heisenberg makes his debut!

And at the same time, Rosalee has to deal with the new realities of an unfamiliar arrival, whilst nursing a child, in the form of the new Mayor, an enigmatic, entrancing man with many secrets - the mysterious Niklaus Mikaelson, who is an Original Vampire (from The Originals) - and the most likely suspect for the murders in the mines!

Meanwhile the Brotherhood of Mutants, among their ranks Emma Frost, Alex and Scott Summers, attend the annual New Orleans Halloween Parade in order to try and find someone who has seen the status or knows that they exist. However, the latest recorded evidence of the Weeping Angels that they find is the 1970s… from people who have claimed to have been transported back in time from 2016. Their most recent sighting is someone who goes by and looks exactly like Cyclops – but Cyclops hasn’t been sent back in time yet, has he? Theme Song: Johnny Cash & Joe Strummer – Redemption Song
Boyd Crowder (Justified), the last survivor of his gang, decides to abandon the cursed gold and seek shelter with the Brotherhood of Mutants who are not too happy to see him. But the Weeping Angels (Doctor Who) aren’t done yet and are continuing to pursue Crowder through the city meaning that the Brotherhood have to make a choice about whether or not to protect their enemy from greater threat. But the enemy of their enemy is their friend so for now a mutual alliance is struck as Crowder has come up with a plan to take down the Angels – and that’s to make them all look at each other so they can’t move – as they can only move when nobody is watching them. He does have a plan to lure them together though, the cursed gold, which he abandoned in the bottom of a river. There’s just one problem – that river is on the other side of town and the Weeping Angels know that the Brotherhood will have to make it through the city to get to the plan, and they will have to do it without their Original Vampire (The Originals) allies who have been lured into a trap on the outskirts of town! Luckily for the Brotherhood they do have a distraction of a massive parade in New Orleans – meaning that there are plenty of ways for the team to try and avoid the coming of the Weeping Angels. But will all be able to make it to the end in one piece, or will they be sent back in time to join Scott Summers?

"TO SAVE THE FUTURE" Part Two of Four "THE CITY OF ANGELS"
Theme Song: Wang Chung - To Live and Die in L.A.
With the Summers brothers absent in the past and Magneto (See this month's X-Men: First Class) having joined them, Mystique, Blink and Sunfire find that the remaining Brotherhood of Mutants ranks are looking incredibly thin. Good news for them that Gambit has decided to show up to help boost their numbers! He also brings information on The Tempus Crew that have established themselves in New Orleans and a potential link to their origins in Los Angeles! It's time for the Brotherhood to head to The City of Angels, bringing an unlikely ally in Boyd Crowder (Justified) along with him, calling in on a favour that Boyd owes him as he attempts to navigate the criminal network in Los Angeles to find out more information on The Tempus Crew. However, Boyd is shocked to find his old frenemy US Marshall Raylan Givens in Los Angeles as well, and it turns out that the Tempus Crew are under investigation from multiple parties.
However, the mismatched group are about to learn that there's more than one meaning behind the name "The City of Angels", and it seems that no matter where they go, there's no escaping the wrath of The Weeping Angels (Doctor Who). But the Angels may have played their card too early and have revealed what they want in the process.
They desire more than anything, an Infinity Stone. And it's an artefact that just so happens to be the Tempus Crew's most prized possession. How it fell into their hands, they don't know. But one thing is certain, they know that they will stop at nothing to defend it.

Luckily for Keats however members of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Scott Summers, Blink and Sunfire, happen to be taking some downtime in the local mall and leap to Keats' safety when the Purifiers use the gas as a distraction to incite a city-wide anti-mutant riot! PANDORA'S BOX
"IT'S A FIDEL, FIDEL, FIDEL, FIDEL WORLD..."
In Cuba, Fidel Castro wakes up to find himself thrust into the Year 2017 where things have changed very much since he last breathed air in 1962, only a few seconds ago. After finding out what has happened to him and the current situation of mutants in New Orleans, he decides to head to the Free City for Mutants to spread his ideals in a city where anything goes. People initially don't take him seriously and he winds up as a radio DJ for a conspiracy talk show, but when he starts telling people what they want to hear, they come knocking at his door. The mutants themselves are starting to listen too, so when Castro preaches about the end of the world within the next few months, people are going to listen. And it's not just the Brotherhood that come knocking at Castro's door, with his former ally Magneto leading the charge, but it's also people from around the world, hunters, slayers and vampires alike, all lured to the Free City to see what Castro truly knows about the Day the World Went Away. It all depends on who can find an ancient artefact from the Hyborian Age first, rumoured to be The Pandora's Box, and in a city like New Orleans, you never know really who you can trust. Can the Brotherhood fight off against the worst mankind has to offer to protect their newfound home, or will they come to ever regret living in New Orleans in the first place?

“ONE, TWO, THREE, COME FLOAT WITH ME…” Part 1 of 4 “27 YEARS LATER…”
Theme Song: Bruce Springsteen - Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Twenty-Seven years after his first encounter with Pennywise the Dancing Clown, ERIK LEHNSHERR finds himself lured back to the small town where it all began, Derry, Maine. Erik this time has the Brotherhood of Mutants with him, but the now-adult kids who he worked with to defeat the Clown last time have failed to show, for whatever reason. And that’s probably a good thing, because this time, Pennywise isn’t going to hold anything back, and if the Brotherhood thought that New Orleans was challenging – they haven’t seen nothing yet! One by one, they start getting attacked by something that claims it has everything they desire. And for some of the younger Brotherhood recruits, tired of a life constantly on the run, PENNYWISE’s false promises may be to hard to ignore. Either way, regardless of Pennywise’s presence, The Brotherhood’s days may be numbered when they decide to take residence for the Christmas period at the abandoned hotel known only as The Overlook Hotel, a sister hotel with the same name – and a similar horrible past – to the one in the Rocky Mountains…

“ONE, TWO, THREE, COME FLOAT WITH ME” Part Two of Four “PENNYWISE ASCENDANT”
Theme Song: Yak - Alas Salvation
IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. Missing kids durning up around Derry, Maine - are causing more and more trouble around the city as public paranoia reaches a breaking point as the small town's parents begin to form a hate mob intent on storming the second Overlook Hotel and kicking the Brotherhood out of town. Rather than harm the townspeople, ALEX SUMMERS decides to turn himself into jail hoping he can sort himself out and calls an old lawyer friend for help only to find that he's currently busy in Canada (see why JIMMY MCGILL is busy in this month in X-23: UNLEASHED #6). It is here that Alex finds himself partnered up with a real murderer, who is in jail for a previous incident in the town - former HYDRA Agent CHRISTOPHER NICHOLSON, who once wore the Yellow Jacket! Without his suit and without protection, he's nothing much more than a common criminal. But soon Alex and Christopher may be forced to team up to face a greater evil that is manipulating their visions - in the form of PENNYWISE THE DANCING CLOWN.
Pennywise also has his eyes set on his old foe ERIK LEHNSHERR. But the mind is a tricky thing, and ERIK has forgotten much of the Clown's existence including how to defeat him. Luckily there is a high-tech, well-defended Abstergo building in Derry that is currently developing a new version of the Animus that allows people to explore their own personal history and relive memories first hand, which is just what Erik wants - so he enlists the aid of veteran Brotherhood member MAGIK, one-time Brotherhood members the STEPFORD CUCKOOS and former X-Factor members QUICKSILVER, JAMIE MADROX and POLARIS to help him break in given that the team is currently under strength following its splintering at the end of the incident in New Orleans and SCOTT SUMMERS' departure. This leaves SUNFIRE behind in the Overlook Hotel all alone - where he starts to fall victim for the whispering of its haunted habitants and the mysterious room 237, which shares a horrifying gateway back in time to the Overlook Hotel in 1980s Colorado, a few years before its destruction.

“ONE, TWO, THREE, COME FLOAT WITH ME” Part 3 of 4 “REDRUM”
Theme Song: Omega R.E.D – Fight Back Now
• The torment of SUNFIRE at the Overlook Hotel in Colorado has slowly driven him insane, so that when he returns to the present and to Maine, a brainwashed Shiro Yoshida finds himself forced into attacking the STEPFORD CUCKOOS, who find themselves without their powers and trapped in the hotel without a way to call for help. Despite this - but they still outnumber Sunfire five to one. But this isn’t the Sunfire they know – this is a twisted shadow of his former self, driven by a desire to kill.
• Meanwhile, MAGNETO, JAMIE MADROX, POLARIS and QUICKSILVER stage a break-out of an Abstergo high-tech security building. Armed with the tools and knowledge of how to defeat PENNYWISE, they head into the sewers below Derry – intent on destroying him once and for all. But will even the combined strength of these mutants be enough to defeat the face of fear itself?
• And finally, after calling in some favours to make the trip from Canada to Maine in record time – JIMMY MCGILL waltzes drunk into the police station which contains a de-powered ALEX SUMMERS and a Yellow-Jacket-less CHRISTOPHER NICHOLSON, intent on saving the day and freeing his old friends. But by now the anti-mutant mob has spiralled out of control into and into a frenzy, and time is running out before they take their first victim. Can Christopher Nicholson be trusted with his Yellow-Jacket suit to escape without bloodshed?

Christopher now has the Yellow Jacket suit back, but the two face bigger problems as Pennywise extends his reach, shrouding the whole town in fear as he rises to become even more powerful than what he was before – someone who isn’t restrained by a confine of appearing once every 27 years. If MAGNETO, POLARIS and QUICKSILVER can destroy the Overlook Hotel before the sun sets then they will rob Pennywise of his main power source – but the STEPFORD CUCKOOs have been converted to join the side of the corrupted SUNFIRE as they fall for the promises of the Hotel’s inhabitants in order to have their powers back. Theme Song: U2 - With Or Without You
Abstergo and Trask Industries start their rollout of mutant detainment camps on a country-wide scale, employing special sentinel services on every street corner to round up their would-be resistance. Desperate times call for desperate measures as Erik calls for a peace conference with Alex Summers in a bid to put aside their differences so the Brotherhood can deal with a world where everyone has powers. But Alex must determine why he doesn’t have any powers at all – and why, according to Trask/Abstergo records, on the entire planet, there is only one other person that doesn’t. His name is Dougie Jones, an ordinary Las Vegas insurance agent who’s wondering the same thing. At the conference, Esmee Cuckoo confronts her sisters on why she chose a different path to all of them for the first time, and Magik comes bearing news about some of their allies who have ended up on one of the camps. Alex decides to lead his team to rescue Dougie Jones from Abstergo’s Templar Agents – whilst Erik launches a ruthless raid of Trask’s prison complex to find the innocent children who have been locked up purely because they have powers. But the Sentinels are aware that he’s coming and storming the prison won’t be as easy as he thought.
