•Still reeling from a recent battle, the SCARLET WITCH and MAGIK are teleported via rainbow energy to caves where MAGNETO awaits them! The Mutant Master of Magnetism doesn't look much better than they do, and he asks for their help against... Whatever it is, Wanda doesn't care. A flurry of hex bolts distorts her estranged father's magnetic force field so she can pin him to the rock wall by inverting his field's polarity.
•Illyana tries in vain to calm her down but the Scarlet Witch's mind has been manipulated perhaps a bit too much lately, and the sudden appearance of PROFESSOR XAVIER and a white-haired main claiming to be her twin brother may be what finally sends her over the edge.
•When Wanda fires a hex bolt at her 'brother', he dodges at super speed but the bolt causes the wall behind him to explode. Everything and everyone begin to be sucked outside... into the starry vacuum of space!

•He has had many names over the millennia: En Sabah Nur, •-|A|-•... The name that stuck was Apokálypsis but you can call him APOCALYPSE! Back when the Norsemen knew and dreaded him as gray, unkillable Ragnarøkkr, he and his mutant kind were called Ú-Fólk, the un-people, the ex-men. •Yggdrasill, the world tree, is an energy field that supports, connects, and nurtures the Ten Realms. It sometimes sprouts seeds, and APOCALYPSE has used one such seed to open a portal into the primal darkness of Ginnungagap. If the portal widens, Ginnungagap will destabilize the World Tree and collapse the Ten Realms, leaving only a sapling pocket dimension hidden by Apocalypse within the corpse of Yggdrasill, a new realm solely for his chosen Ú-Fólk, mutants he will rule for eternity.
•Only luck saved those not protected by Apocalypse from the detonation of Asteroid A, and luck is the SCARLET WITCH's play thing. The survivors are strewn across the roots of Yggdrasill as the void yawns wider and gods do battle above. STRØM, goddess of thunder, discovers her opponent is not the true THOR. He is an Æsirborg, an Asgardian clone of Thor augmented with Celestial cybernetics who calls himself RAGNARÖK, and it will take all of Ørørø's newfound divinity to put this mad god down.
•While MAGIK closes the rift to Ginnungagap with a teleportation disk of her own, Apocalypse escapes with his chosen, including unconscious QUICKSILVER, badly beaten COLOSSUS, plus a green-haired woman MAGNETO claims is another of his daughters, and a blonde man XAVIER says is the brother of the X-Men's field leader, CYCLOPS!
