“ARMY STRONG”
In many ways, Bruce Banner is responsible for the Civil War. The Hulk rampaged in both the United States and in Vanaheim but was protected by Asgard. That was the proverbial straw that smashed the camel’s back. Blaming himself for the conflict, Banner is, more than ever, targeted by General “Thunderbolt” Ross!
You’ve heard of Delta Force, the unit of the most hard-nosed, tough sons-of-bitches in the U.S. Army? Imagine those badasses totally hulked-out and you have the 1st Super Forces Operational Detachment-Gamma, less formally known as Gamma Force! The experiments performed on Banner when he was held captive, which facilitated Ross’ transformation into the Red Hulk, have finally been leveraged for widespread military application. The soldiers of Gamma Force have the Hulk’s strength combined with Earth’s most elite military training. They smash more before 9 a.m. than most Hulks do all day, and they stand against Thor and his allies. There may be nothing the Hulk can do to stop them... but perhaps Bruce Banner can think of something?

“BERSERKER”
The U.S. Military’s Gamma Force, hulked out elite soldiers, are perhaps the nation’s most powerful weapon against Asgard. They’ve already stomped a mud hole in the Hulk’s ass and walked it dry, so it’s up to his other half - unstable genius Bruce Banner - to brainstorm some kind of countermeasures...
In legend, the fabled “berserkers” were northmen sworn to Odin capable of summoning an animalistic fury, becoming nearly unstoppable in battle even without armor. Howling with strength, when their fury abated it is said that they shrank into tame and even docile states. Is it possible that these berserkers could have been early evolutions of Hulks?
Banner travels to Northern Europe to try and fine the remains of one of these Berserkers. If his theory is true, he can use the energy left in their bones to create a new generation of Berserkers to help the cause of Asgard! But Gamma Force doesn’t plan to just let that happen! It’s an archeological race against time... and against gigantic, angry army grunts!

“MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A TRUCK, BERSERKER”
In order to put up a fight against the hulked-out soldiers of Gamma Force, Bruce Banner dug up the bones of ancient Norse “berserkers” to see if they held the secret to Asgardian-inspired proto-Hulk transformations as he hypothesized. But there must have been some magic in that old berserker skeleton he found, because now things are getting really weird...
Puny Banner always struggled with dissociative identity disorder - multiple personalities. Besides Bruce and Hulk, there have been Joe Fixit and Doc Green, amongst others. But now there is a new personality in town: Sterkr Grœnn Maðr, a Viking berserker that likes to do exactly what you’d assume a Viking berserker likes to do. Is Sterkr a product of Bruce’s fragmented psyche or the actual possessing spirit of a long dead warrior? Either way, he’s invasive and quickly becoming a dominant persona. Bruce and Hulk will have to team up in their mindscape to wrestle control of their big green body from the Norseman, while the world at large must contend... with Viking Hulk! As far as Nordic monsters go, Grendel ain’t got $&@# on him!

“GHOST IN THE HULK”
Good news! Sterkr Grœnn Maðr, the Viking Hulk, wasn’t another of Bruce Banner’s divergent personalities! No, he actually was the possessing spirit of a long-dead Viking Berserker. That means he can be exorcised with the help of a practitioner of Asgardian magic! But can Bruce trust... Loki!?
Meanwhile, the U.S. Government’s efforts to replicate the Hulk are failing. The members of Gamma Force, the hulked-out Army division, have either become sick or out of control. In an ironic twist of fate, the only one who may be able to help them... is Bruce Banner! Will he do his part to end the Civil War by saving an enemy?
And when these two plots points intersect, what happens when the exorcised Viking Spirt possesses an out of control Hulk Soldier??? Spoiler: Smashing and Pillaging!
