Superboy, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Dr. Manhattan, Vixen, Martian Manhunter and Ozymandias the new JLA are having their 1st meeting. At the head of the table Ozymandias attempts to manipulates everyone. However, Superboy takes charge as his boss President Amanda Waller is in his ear...always. The President wants them to "neutralize" their former member the living planet Green Lantern Mogo! If that didn't cause enough conflict the JLA meets their newest recruit, the greatest fighter in world Richard Dragon. For Superboy and Mr. Dragon it's hate at first sight!

Meanwhile Superman, Batman and Flash continue to recruit for a League of their own. One that isn't regulated by the government. They have already recruited Static and the Monster of the "Stanley and his Monster" tandem. Now they are joined by former Batman partner in crime the mysterious Silk Spectre and even more mysterious and dangerous android with an attitude name Zeta. Meanwhile the Atlanteans have Donna Troy, and so a like for like exchange could be held in an underground train station away from the prying eyes of the Gorilla warlords above. However, The Flash can’t help but think that something’s wrong about this exchange, and naturally, when Deadshot shows up on the scene with a sniper rifle, he isn’t surprised. However, this Deadshot is different from the one on his Earth and it turns out that the Hired Gun is there to stop a suicide bomber before he can detonate, killing both Queens. But with Deadshot distracted by The Flash – is it too late?
And what about this world’s Barry Allen? There’s got to be one, right? Well you’re about to meet the new Flash – Gorilla Grodd’s right hand man!

I could try to understand but Destiny is impatient, Damnation's book is completely blank and all futures are slipping away. The ink is fading from everyone's destinies and it is thanks to this child. Death though has him in hiding and claims his innocence, instead she claims that there are two more Endless children that are the cause of this: Doubt and Dependence! The two young girls are playing with reality, led on by older brother Desire. Desire and Dream represent the same side of the coin of hope, but we must forever challenge each other. Before that though, I must find out why the universe is creating so many new Concepts? Almost as though someone has hit the restart button on the universe without washing away the old first!

Around the world strange multicolored electrical storms tear the sky's apart above the world's most mystical points of power. Oracle tries to source what is happening but doesn't even know where to start especially when monsters start to fall out of these storms and begin tearing the world apart. Batman realises how badly Batman Inc. needs a mystic division as he deploys his forces around the world. Save the citizens and take down the monsters! Isn't this where Clark or Green Lantern fly in? He's only supposed to be policing the world, what can he do against threats like these? He dons his mask, he swore to protect this world, and that includes from threats he doesn't understand. He will not ask his teams to face something that he won't and so gears up to take on the giant creature that has dropped out of the sky, conveniently enough, on Gotham City! The monster rips through the city as Batman Inc. tries to both contain the threat and evacuate the City, but this monster faces more then Batman and his army today. The homeless man drags himself up off the ground in the alley and walks towards the creature. Finally, he thinks, life gets interesting again as he throws away his old mac to reveal the sword across his back. The immortal Beowulf finally has another monster to slay as long as that bloke in the cape isn't foolish enough to get in his way!
Oracle signs the first draft of the current U.N. proposal for the Deployment and Sustainable Control of Meta-Human Activity. They need the Meta's on board for what Batman has planned. Today has shown them what they can and cannot do. All it needs now is Batman's approval.

"Superman Lost": Part Two

Still weak, Superman lands on a planet much like Mars. Ramal-5 orbits a yellow star, but it's very far away. He finds a populated area & heads toward it, hoping to find some help.

Back on Earth, Lois is investigating the events leading to Superman's exile: the "death" of Clark and the Tribunal Agent who arrived. She attempts to contact the Justice League to question Green Lantern, but is met with resistance. What's going on?

On Ramal-5, Superman agrees to assist a local miner with digging a hole in exchange for transport on a passenger ship to Ramal-2, a planet in the system much closer to the yellow star. After digging the hole, Superman thanks the miner for his help and the ship sets off. The miner gets on a communicator and tells someone off planet "the Kryptonian is coming your way..."

In Metropolis, upon returning home Lois finds a mysterious unsigned note: "Tribunal Agent vanished. Keep digging, I will too." But who left it?

"Flight"

•The long-awaited finale to the New Dawn 2.0 Superman origin is finally here in this 80-page giant!•

Clark takes the crystal given to him by Faora to a quiet place. Almost as if the crystal could read his mind, it began to glow. Holographic images fill the room, and Clark's eyes are glued to them. He hears the voice of his father, Jor El: "Kal...I hope this recording finds you well, and that it may answer some questions..." As Jor El's voice continues, Clark receives a history lesson of all things Kryptonian!

Faora finds Zod in Metropolis' Centennial Park. She tries to speak with him, but Zod won't hear it. When she gets close he hits her, knocking her to the ground. He confesses his own love for her and how he feels betrayed that she would choose the "halfling" Kal over him. As the argument gets heated, Zod rises into the air, burning the trees all around with heat vision. Onlookers begin to flee in panic.

Back at the Kent farm, Clark's education has finished for now. With the recorded words of his dead father, Clark knows what he has to do...and how he is to do it. Kneeling down first, he then launches himself into the air! His clothes fall away to reveal a familiar blue suit, and he flies off, faster than a speeding bullet.

Clark catches up to Zod & Faora in Metropolis. Faora is unconscious. Flying at speeds too fast for the human eye to see, he slams into Zod, driving him into the ground! The sound of their punches could be heard all across the city. Suddenly, Superman is launched into the sky by a mighty punch, and Zod flies after him, rage in his eyes. Superman attacks Zod in mid-air, and drags him out of Earth's atmosphere and they land on the moon. Lois tries to help onlookers evacuate the area, and comes across Faora, who's just waking up. Lois tells her Superman needs help, but Faora is still honor bound to her General. She tells Lois she knows what she has to do...

Moments later, Superman & Zod crash back to Earth, turning Centennial Park into a crater. In the epicenter stand the 2 combatants, trading blows like two weary boxers. Superman knocks Zod to the ground, and is about to finish the fight when Faora lands between them. She quickly grabs Superman, throwing him into the sky. When he's at a safe distance, she activates the device on her wrist...opening a portal to the Phantom Zone. Zod & Faora are quickly pulled inside, the portal closing before Superman can reach her.

In the days following, the newspapers read "Superman saves city!", but Clark and Lois know the truth. Faora had sacrificed their freedom out of her love for Clark...and Clark vowed to one day release her. Clark walks the streets to the Daily Planet...he stops, and looks up. The Planet, now out of debt, looks shiny and new, and the globe atop the building is spinning once again. Ckark smiles in awe & says "wow."
