“This Time, SHE’S the Dinosaur”
The smartest person in the world grew up. She saved the world a few times and had plenty of adventures, some fun, some poignant, others unbelievable and many of them with her best friend, a giant red dinosaur. But she faced the greatest challenge of her long life: a fatal medical condition she couldn’t cure. So the smartest person on the planet figured that given enough time, a cure would be found. She programs a cryogenic chamber to keep her frozen until such time as her condition can be treated and resolved. Sure enough, the programming and smart tech of her chamber works, keeping a watch over various signals and broadcasts and when the cure is found, her chamber enacts the cure. But she has woken up in a world where most everything has changed and she discovers that much of the world has left her behind. Her first new friend is the strapping young Killraven, a hero with great courage, a long sword, and very little clothing. Join us as Jonathan Raven and Lunella Lafayette head across what used to be the United States of America in quest of Devil, the big red dinosaur. But first the pair must get past a band of marauding Badoon, an alien race at war with the planet Earth. Yep, things have most assuredly changed.

“Massachusetts – The Battle of Fitchburg – V2.aomnu”
Lunella Lafayette has discovered the first clue in her quest to discover what happened to her best friend Devil Dinosaur. The trail heads west and she, along with her new companions, Killraven and the Rigellian Recorder android, finds herself reliving a battle only hinted at in one of the TV series she used to watch as a young girl after her parents thought she was in bed.
For some reason, the Badoon are fixated on the small Rollstone hill in the center of this small city. As Recorder runs geological studies of the local quarry. Lunella and Killraven must find a way to tunnel inside the hill where another clue to either Devil’s location or a way to rid the planet of the Badoon or both, may exist.
And just as our heroes start to make progress through the hill, the silicon chip inside Lunella’s head gets switched to overload. “Lunella? It’s me, Val, you got a few minutes to catch up? Let me explain why you see me as a nine year old girl and why I’m a hologram in your head.”

"ROUTE 66, EXIT 1: CHICAGO"
The trip west continues for our intrepid future adventurers. Now the city of Chicago has been a big part of Americana. It’s long been home to the traditional old school gangster. The future of the AOM world is no different. When the Badoon invaded years earlier, even the villians and gangsters knew they had to band together and they assembled in Chicago. The Badoon, of course, caught on and attacked. The Chicago this generation knows is one under Lake Michigan. It’s a city with a mix of retro-gangster and Atlantean cultures. Watch our mature maven face off against the current kingpin of crime.
In order to gain safe transportation to the west Coast in their quest to find Devil Dinosaur, our band needs transportation. Lunella’s only hope is a century old chit she had been given by an old school Godfather type. Hopefully it hasn’t expired.
Plan B consists of the Recorder and Killraven hitting the casino where the slogan is “the House ALWAYS wins”. Can the Recorder’s computer mind and Killraven’s mental abilities help our duo in their quest for travel money? Chicago does like its home field advantage.

OLD MOON CRONE #4 Written by Amy Reeder Plot by CaptCleghorn Art by Veronica Fish “ROUTE 66, EXIT 2: ST. LOUIS” Our intrepid travelers of the future have gotten ahold of the Wonderous Whiz Wagon! However, they are set upon in the Badoon run New St. Louis. However, beneath the ground lies the string of caves once used by brewers of beer to keep their stocks cool. Lunella got a lot out of her undergraduate education. She did spend almost 18 months earning her first degree, but a love of beer was not part of it. She was, you know, only 11 at the time. However, man’s love for alcohol and Lunella’s love of science may be able to finally work together. Certain grains have been shown to be poisonous to the Badoon, who have developed a taste for Earthly libations. Our team’s mission: To use the few excess parts of the Whiz Wagon to brew beer from the grains the Badoon cannot digest, thus making them sick or worse. Killraven and the Recorder are working above ground, trying to negotiate safe passage through the western half of the continent from the tribe of native Americans who have regained authority over a large area and who would rather not see anyone, Badoon or Immigrant Human enter their domain. 32 PGs./ Rated T...$2.99

“ROUTE 66, EXIT 3: OKLAHOMA, KO”
Theme song: Susan Herndon - "The Bad Roads of Oklahoma”
The Wonderous Whiz Wagon and its three passengers, Lunella, the Recorder and Killraven continue their journey across what remains of the United States in the far future. The sparse landscape and flat terrain make travelling somewhat easier, but this wouldn’t be a superhero comic without problems, amirite?
The assorted Native American tribes that have reclaimed the middle areas of the continent have allowed our heroes passage, but that permission is capable of disappearing at anytime. The problem is the current inhabitants of middle America hate technology and because there is little in this area the Badoon want, the Native Americans are free to return to a simpler life. The 22nd century marvel of the whiz wagon and an alien built android data repository won’t go over well here.
When faced with a problem where there is no obvious solution, a tactic is to go back to first principles. In order to keep the citizens of this new land happy, Lunella agrees to build them creations and devices to make their lives easier using only simple machines as the Greeks defined them. To Lunella’s advantage Val’s voice in her head has intimate knowledge of the Keewasi tribe and if all goes well… Welcome to the halfway point.

“ROUTE 66, EXIT 4: GRAND CANYON”
Lunella Lafayette, the Recorder and Killraven have reached the end of the native American reclaimed territory of the continent. But two challenges still await their venturing into the west. One, the Colorado River, and two, the Grand Canyon.
Can our Whiz Wagon crew make it across both the river and the canyon?
And this just isn’t our heroes trying to reenact Evel Knievel’s fondest wish. They also come across yet another traveler, one buried deep in the hidden area of the canyon. Our travelers find the android original Human Torch. The problem is, there are no records of an android Human Torch.
What’s up with this new development and why isn’t he in the memories of the Recorder, Lunella, the Whiz Wagon’s records, or even Valeria Richards, the voice in Lunella’s head. “And I should know.” Valeria tells Lunella.
